Raptor 50's are a youth atv. The factory has a throttle stop screw at the throttle lever. There is also changes to the throttle arm and carb slide that prevents attaining full throttle. Lastly the stock CDI box has a rev limiter.
yes i does.if your raising your rpm be sure to make sure that your throttle bodies are in sync.
your float is stuck in the open or fill position or you need to tighten up the screw you loosened at the bottom of the float cover the idle screw is located near the throttle body that's where the throttle cable meets the carborator
take the screw out of the side of the engine it is a medium size screw in the side
first off all remove the brake then you remove the 4 wheels then cut the fuel line down by about 2 inch then your 4 wheeler is****ed !
under the seat where the throdle screws in the carb, there is an adjustment screw, turn right and it increases the idle. it worked for me. do it while running. It is a large flat head screw that is on the throttle body control mechanism. Not on the carburetor itself.
how to adjust air fuel mixture on yamaha sh50? Is the screw an air screw (in to richen) or a fuel screw? (out to richen)
I have the screw on the rear of the throttle practically all the way out -- but not totally removed -- on my 2002 Big Bear 400 and it routinely maxes out at around 42 MPH.
Answerif this is on a 2stroke the governors are on the throttle handle and the exhaust take the exhaust off at the head and there should be a washer in the exhaust remove the washer. on the throttle there is a screw that stops the throttle from going full throttle remove that screw. there usually by the throttle & to take out just a few screws
It is a large slotted screw located on the throttle body.
The idle adjust screw is on the throttle body. The side of the throttle body that faces the front of the car should have a dime size flathead screw towards the upper edge.
there is not a gevernor screw however there is a rev limiter in the CDI ignition box, you can get one on ebay without the limiter, if yours has 5 wires it is DC, 6 wires it is AC, make sure you get the correct one.
