As a Warranty Administrator for Daimler Chrysler for over 7 years, I can tell you that neither Chrysler or aftermarket service contracts have ever covered Power Steering components with a drivetrain/powertrain service contracts.

Examples of covered components may be engine, transmission/transaxle, transfer case, and differentials.
