rudder
rudder
empennage
It part of the tail.
It allows the airplane to fly the direction you want it to.
It is called the horizontal stabilizer. The elevators are mounted on the tail end of it.
That is the section at the back which usually supports the elvators, fin and rudder. Many larger aircraft may also have an APU there.
It is called a "Yoke", the rudder is on the tail of the aircraft and is generally operated by foot pedals to controll the Yaw of the aircraft
The first influential part on a plane helps in stability is the fuselage. The second part is the vertical tail. It's also said that the empennage is an important part as well.
an airplane
An inverted airfoil on the the horizontal stabilizer of an airplane will stabilize the aircraft along the horizontal axis in forward flight.
Depending on context this could either be 'aft' (when inside the airplane), or 'Empennage' when referring to the entire tail section (the horizontal and vertical stabilizers, the rudder, the elevators, as well as rudder and elevator trim).
