Answer: No, I called Mobil and they said they do not make Mobil 1 oil filter for Jaguar and the next best things is to use Mobil 1 oil but buy your oil filter from the Jaguar Dealership. Now I always buy Jaguar Dealership's oil filter for my 2002 Jaguar S-Type Sport and My 2006 Jaguar S-Type R. I have over 160,000 miles on 2002 jaguar and it still runs like a new engine.

Impossible to say without knowing the year. Read your owners manual or call the nearest Jaguar dealer.
I do believe that the oil sensor in a 1996 Jaguar tells you how much oil you have and it tells you the oil temperature.
The owner's manual recommends Castrol 5W 30.
