A turbo
When one of your car's add-on's, eg. alternator, Power Steering pump extr, start to developt a bearing defect. The car will sound as if you have a turbo in.
to determine witch part is starting to fail, open the hood and listen.
Use a long screwdriver, put the handle against your ear and press the metal point on the housings of the different parts when the car is idling. Just like a docter use a stetoscope.
yes,its called the turbo whistler
Buy a turbo
they sell inserts for your muffler that simulate the noise a turbo makes
sorry to tell you this but your turbo has shot it
short and simple answer. You cant, and if you do you just come across simply as a wannabee and tryhard, and pretty much just make yrself look like a big fool in the process. There are only 3 ways to get that sound 1 engine swap, get a turbo engine, take yr non turbo engine out,put turbo one in 2 part with 3 grand or more and get a turbo kit 3 buy a proper turbo car, dont try turn yr car into something its not, whether you have a sound like a blowoff valve on it,you know within yrself your not driving a turbo car,yr only a wannabee thats pretending to have a turbo when your in a non turbo. The more sensible option is do it properly, keep yr dignity, dont look like a bloody idiot pretending you have a turbo when you dont.
it makes you go very fast!
Yes, The turbo is just a booster but the engine makes a car run.
NO. deffinatly not. you need to have a turbo on you car! wow what a ricer
If it is a turbo, it could be the turbo winding up. I had an Audi with 2.7 T engine that would whistle / whine when accelerating. You could have an air leak in the inlet manifold or plenum.
Depends, i bet that car probably had a supercharger
sounds like you need new belts Your brake pads could also be wet
you need brake pads
