That's very difficult to answer, if it's even answerable. Speed limits vary in various places. On the highway, the speed limit typically range from 55 MPH to 75 MPH (in the U.S.) and in the city, speed limits can be as low as 10 or 15 MPH or as high as 45 or 50 MPH. Almost any car made will go 90 or 100 MPH, and most will go faster, and some sports cars, such as the Chevrolet Corvette or Dodge Viper will go a lot faster. I've driven my Corvette as fast as 170 and the new models are even faster.
