The 400 turbo pan is squire and the 350 turbo pan has 3 squire corners with 1 corner cut in a angle

If the transmission pan is square in shape then it is a 400 Turbo. If the pan has 1 corner that is in an angle and not square then it will be the 350 turbo.
Once you remove the pan, you'll see it.
Probably a turbo 350 trans. This is a three speed trans. The way for you to check is to look at the trans pan. look up a picture of a turbo 350 trans and compare it to your trans pan.
Turbo 350 0r the stronger turbo 400 call your local parts house for drain pan desighns that will tell you which it is. Most likely though it is the 350

turbo 350 or a turbo 400 turbo 400 has rounded pointed area at end of pan..newer models got a early model 700!!
The vent is located towards the front of the tranny on the drivers side just above the fluid pan mount. daner@copper.net
