If you are asking about the tapped hole at the back of the engine near the distributor, that would be 1/8" NPT.
It is in the gas tank
It is on the drivers side head.
I will doubt the connection or the sending unit. Hope this will help.

Are you talking about a sending unit for the fuel system, If so, yes its in the tank Are you talking about a sending unit for the fuel system, If so, yes its in the tank
Disconnect the wire. Screw out the old one. Screw in the new one. Connect the wire. If you don't use the special socket to fit over the sending unit you risk damaging the unit. Also do not over tighten the unit, it has 1/8" pipe thread and requires a little thread sealant and only snug it up.

It is right behind the distributor. It is HARD to see and to get to.
