There's not enough info in the question to be specific, but the first thing you do is lock and unlock the doors to reset the immobilizer.
First thing I'd do is check the fuse for the power doorlock circuit.

There's no such thing. A particular building or company may have a "master key" that can unlock all the doors associated with that company, but even these won't usually unlock any safes, desks, filing cabinets, etc. in the building.

The factory made the Olds Alero do that, I have a 2001 Olds Alero and it does the same thing. It's just a factory thing that they have done to the car.
