Set the Scott's Speedy Green 1000 spreader to the recommended setting for the 20-1-4 Naturlawn nutrient as indicated on the product packaging or by using a calibration test. Apply the fertilizer evenly over your lawn, ensuring to follow all safety and usage instructions provided.
The recommended setting for ammonium nitrate on a Speedy Green 2000 spreader is typically around 19 to 21. It is always a good idea to refer to the manufacturer's guidelines or consult with a professional to ensure proper application.

It really depends on the size of the product that you are putting down. Tiny pieces of per-emergent or pest control product will empty much faster on a setting of say 6 than a larger product like fertilizer. So settings will vary. To effectively and responsibly apply your product I'd suggest that you contact the manufacture of the spreader or the material you are spreading.

I spread 10,000 sq-ft of ACE Green Turf over about 12,000 sq-ft of lawn using my Republic rotary broadcast spreader. I used a setting of 4 for the front yard (which was too much) and 2.5 in the back yard (which was too little). So, I'm thinking the right setting was about 3. Not very scientific, hope this helps...
