Does it turn over? Does it have spark? Does it have fuel? Does it have compression?
it depends if you have a 305 or 305ho , 305 8:1 compression cupped cylinders 305ho has 9:1 compression with valve cut pistons
when my 305 is running it has about 60 psi in all the cyliner
Yes they will, but 305 heads have a smaller combustion chamber so it may raise your compression ratio.
8.3:1 is stock
Higher compression ration which can increase hp. I installed 49cc heads on my 305 instead of the 64cc and got a higher compression ration and a fair amount of hp gain.
Clockwise
Who said it won't ? It will fit right in there with NO problems
95 degrees
305 Small Block Chevy engines typically were 8.6 compression ratio and would use 87 octane fuel.
It could be done with high compression, big valves, and a roller cam, or a supercharger, or nitrous oxide.
if ur lucky it may have came stock with camel hump heads with 10.2 compression and it will purr....
