what is the torque on a 1999 Yukon engine
i need to know the head torque spec's and sequence on a 1999 Chrysler Concorde 2.7 liter motor
What are the torque specs for 99 ford ranger 3.0L intake manifold?
HEAD BOLT TORQUE For your 1999 PONTIAC GRAND AM: HEAD BOLT TORQUE FOOT POUNDS (FINAL TORQUE) TORQUE SEQUENCE --------- | 6 2 3 7 | | 5 1 4 8 | --------- STEP 1: TORQUE IN SEQUENCE TO 33 FT/LBS STEP 2: TURN AN ADDITIONAL 90 DEGREES RECHECK FINAL TORQUE IN SEQUENCE *** CAUTION *** ENGINE USES TORQUE TO YIELD HEAD BOLTS (TTY) THAT PERMANENTLY STRETCH DURING THE INITIAL INSTALLATION. NEW HEAD BOLTS MUST BE USED WHEN CYLINDER HEAD IS REPLACED OR RE-INSTALLED TO OBTAIN PROPER TORQUE. ALWAYS COAT BOLT THREADS WITH THE PROPER SEALANT.
the torque spec is 120 ft pound of torque with steel rims its 140 use a four way and put some grunt into it. That should be just enough.
This is an involved task. Get a manual from a parts store and it will have pictures and everything.
no
Dunno if it's any help, but on my 93 model it was 125 INCH pounds. No sequence was listed so I criss-crossed in an alternating pattern.
18 ft in sequence,then additional 90 degrees,then additional 90 degrees,then additional 90 degress
No.
There is a sequence for torqueing down the head. 1. Torque to 44 ft. lbs. 2. Loosen 1/2 turn. 3. Torque to 44 ft. lbs. again. 4. Tighten 1/4 turn from step 3. 5. Tighten 1/4 turn from step 4. Follow sequence when torquing down the head. If you don't know what it is. Start in the middle and torque it down in a criss cross fashion towards the outside.
