PUSH rods and rocker arms... yes.
How do I change from standard rockers an push rods to roler rockers
Pull the valve covers off. loosen the rocker arms with out taking them all the way off. then you can turn the rocker arms to pull the push rods out. replace push rods, and tighten rocker arms back down and put valve covers back on
Which side they came from, where the push rods came from and if you remove the rockers remember which rocker went where
Yes. If the valves (rocker arms/push rods) are adjusted too tight, the valves will hang open instead of closing. This will result in a loss of compression at the very least. It can also prevent the engine from pulling in air/fuel as well.
Run a small piece of wire down through them and clean them with carb cleaner. Then blow them out with air.
YES they are.
Under the rocker cover.
If you are talking about the PISTON RODS then they will not make any noise. The engine will just wear the pistons and cylinder walls until you have a problem with oil comsupition. If the push rods or bent then you will have a engine miss and rocker arm noise in the valve covers/ clatting noise.
yes
A spun cam bearing, or just bad cam bearings period. Push rods stoped up, Need cleaned.
Look for a plug or cap in one of the rocker covers.
