First remove the center console assembly by removing the five screws that are holding it down two are by the rear bottom sides of the center console two are hidden under the wood grain bezel around the shifter assembly just pry that up off of there and the last one is in the cup holder (make sure you have the parking brake set) once you have the center console removed you're going to want to remove the shifter linkage cable by prying up on the metal clip holding it down but before you do that you will have to pry up on the black bezel that has the gear indicators on it to gain access to the metal n shaped clip that is holding down the shifter linkage cable then at the end of the cable is a nut that attaches it to the shifter lever remove that nut while the shifter lever is in park Then just pull the cable towards the front of the car and lift up on it to get it out of the way next remove the electrical connector attached to the shifter assembly by squeezing the tab on it and lifting it out next remove the shift interlock cable by squeezing the white tabs and popping it off then jack up the car and put it on jack stands or drive it up on a ramp get under the car and remove the heat shield that is directly above the catalytic converter by removing the five bolts holding it in place once you have that off you will see the under side of the shifter assembly unbolt the two nuts that are holding it down to the body of the car next get back inside the car and remove the two other nuts that are holding down the shifter assembly and there you have it if you have any trouble or just couldn't understand any part of my instructions then just email me at RWDrift350@gmail.com and I will go over it with you
