YES. That is a direct bolt on with no problems. The heads will bolt on, but the compression ratio will be different. Depending on which heads and which pistons, the compression ratio could be a lot different.
5 on 4, and 3/4.
Yes it will. But you will need to know if the 454 requires a flywheel that is either internal or external balanced.

Some Pontiacs came from the factory with Chevy engines. If this is the case on your 79 firebird, then the transmission will bolt up to a 350 Chevy. If the car came with a Pontiac engine, then the bolt pattern is different and would not bolt up.
The bolt pattern on a 1969-1991 K-5 Blazer is 6 on 5.5" (139.7mm).
It will bolt in the same as any big block Chev
bolt pattern for 1979 Pontiac Bonneville
That engine could be anywhere from a 1969 to 1972 350. Some of them were 4-bolt mains and some were just a 2-bolt main engine.
1979-1985 Cadillac eldorado
A 350 Oldsmobile engine has a different bolt pattern than the Chevrolet engine. The 350 Olds and 350 Pontiac engines have the same bolt pattern. The 350 Chevrolet and the 350 Buick engines have the same bolt pattern. Unless you have a dual bolt pattern transmission (there are some out there) in that Chevy, the Olds engine won't bolt into the Chevy transmission.
