The lifters are hydraulic and require no adjustments. If you have valve clatter you have worn valve train parts.
There are 2 different types of valves on the 5.7 L vortex engine. Both the exhaust and fuel injection valves can be adjusted by turning the adjustment screws.
can the valves be adjusted on a 1998 454 7.4 vortex with the roller lifters
CHANGE TH E INTAKE MANIFOLD MAYBE EXHAUST YEARS VARY
needs overhaul rings ect.
They are basically the same heads, If the 93 350 is a vortex motor.
no!
Probably on the exhaust manifold before catalytic converter
That engine has 2 of them and you have to remove the intake manifold to even see are to get to them.
NO, Not even close.
Yes. The base engine componants are the same. The differences are the intake and fuel delivery.
the 95 and the 93 full size pick ups are identical there should be no need to swap parts the 95 vortec from an S-10 will need the entire intake manifold, exhaust, sensors, and wiring harness from the 93 to make it run
replace intake manifold gaskets, if gaskets have been replaced and intake has been clean oil and plugs have been changed then your problem most likely would be the timing.timing the distibutor on a vortex engine sometimes can be tricky.
