The capacity of a gas tank will vary according to the truck. Regular size pick ups have a tank that is approximately 20 gallons, whereas a semi truck can have tanks that hold up to 150 gallons.

What make of truck? Ford used 2 fuel tanks, the front was 20 gallon capacity and the rear tank was 18 gallon. I am not sure of Chevy or Dodge, but I assume fuel capacity was similar

The truck I'm currently driving (and typing out this post from the sleeper of) has a capacity of 260 gallons.
