If you want a new car, the 2007 Hyundai Accent is pretty economic. One of my relatives bought one for a little under ten grand, it gets good mileage and is roomy for the price. For a used vehicle, I have four reccomendations: Mitsubishi Galant - My sister used to have one of these. It has plenty of room, most get good miles to the gallon, and is good against most collisions. Chevy Aveo - My cousin currently owns one, it's good for learning to drive. It gets you where you need to go for an economic price. Chevrolet Cavalier - My sister's first car. It is, however, one of the cheapest rides on the market. Once again, a reliable car who will get you where you need to go, but it requires much maintenance. Geo Metro - If you can find one with it's airbags intact, the Metro gets EXCELLENT mileage. It's not that big, so I think they only come in two doors. But it will save lots of money at the gas station. Good luck!
if you are paying $10000 for a car you can afford a RAC or mechanical check for $50, always check news papers and word of mouth rather then car yards.
What you call a Sports Car may not be a true sports car. What is best looking to you may not be best looking to me. Looks are subjective. A used Mazda Miata can be bought for under $10,000 and it is a nice looking true sports car.

Search lotpro.com and their filters to find cars either under $10000 or just slightly over. Even if you can't find one for under ten grand, there are plenty priced only slightly above.
If you're looking for a car under $10,000, try a used car dealership or Craigslist. You probably won't be able to find a new car for under that price, but a decent used car can be found if you are willing to do the research.
A nice but affordable car to drive to college you buy from that is less than ten thousand dollars is very simple. Best deals on used vehicles under $10000.
yes depends on condition and mileage
You can find new car under $10,000 on the internet, via car websites, in addition to advertisements in the newspaper. Just be carefully about deals that look too good, or seem to good to be true-sometimes they are just that, not the deal of a lifetime, but an awful scam.
There is more choice than ever before of cars which cost lest than 10000 pounds. A car under 10k will be suitable for long and short distance travel and be more than adequate for teens or young people.
