There is no average. It just depends on many factors.

Where is your home located, Closer to the water, the higher the rate.

Do you want Coverage based on Cash Value or Replacement Coverage? Replacement coverage costs more.

Do you want an HO1, HO2 or an HO3? Each policy type offers it's own benefits and each is progressively higher in cost.

Does your home have recent updates? Homes that have not been well maintained or regularly updated can cost 2 to 3 times more to insure than homes that are well taken care of.

How is your personal credit. poor credit can result in a higher Insurance Premium.

The best thing to do is just contact a few different Insurers or agents and get some estimates based on your homes risk factors.
