A policy schedule is usually the cover page of a policy, or the one that immediately follows it. It summarizes the coverages provided by the policies, usually by name and/or form number, and also by amount. The amount of coverage is stated in terms of amount of coverage per person (for example, if one person were injuries in an incident), and in the aggregate (the total amount that the insurer might be liable for if multiple people were injured in the same occurrence).

The policy schedule may also show the amount of premium chanrged to the insured for the coverage.
