Turbo 300, Turbo 350, Turbo 400 and 700R4 are the first ones that came to mind.
I guess you can if you want. But I don't know WHY you would want to. the 700R4 is a MUCH better transmission. If you change, your fuel milage will be WORSE and the Engine will turn more RPMs. ( Hard on engine )
Factory would have been a 350 TURBO.
700r4 NEW ANSWER: That would be the 400 turbo
It should be a 205 new prosess NOT.......... the 700R4 was not used with the gear drive NP 205, only earlier trucks with Turbo 350's or 400's it is more likely a np 207 chain drive
no
The 1991 Chevy Caprice equipped with a 350 motor typically comes with a 4-speed automatic transmission, specifically the Turbo-Hydramatic 700R4. This transmission provides a balance of performance and efficiency, suitable for the vehicle's design. Depending on the specific model and options, there may be variations, but the 700R4 is the most common for that configuration.
Yes but you may have to shorten the drive shaft if it is a 350 turbo going to a non electronic 700r4
V6 turbo is better
