Try a product called JB Weld
The best I have found is JB Weld.
Epoxy is best on these materials.
Epoxy is best for the two materials
Yes it will, in fact it is possibly the best adhesive to bind almost anything to glass.
Epoxy or silicone would be best

White glue is definitely the best for that.
Before soaking metal jewerlry in WD40 to remove adhesive, test on a small area. This will prevent you from ruining the piece if the WD40 removes or damages the finish.
Wet it, then scrape with a metal spatula or spreader.
I would use PL300 or a similar general adhesive.
Heat it with a hair dryer, then scrape with a metal spatula.
Best glue I've found for that is 'Sta-Put' spray adhesive, sold at stores that sell plastic laminates.
