An incomplete chassis can be many things, but is usually a vehicle produced with most all necessary running parts ( eng, trans, axles, controls), but not complete passenger areas . these are then used by another company to make buses, RVs, delivery trucks, or custom vehicles. UPS buys many of these every year and puts their old bodies on them to save money. Chassis cabs are usually trucks like one ton or two ton type that have a complete cab and front end, but just a bare frame in back for the buyer to install a box or bed on.
