Check for a chassis ground behind the carpet under the tail lights(some cars have a threaded stud there). If not, use a self tamping screw and drill in to the unibody/frame in a location out of the way(like near the seats or near the bumper), so cargo can't damage the connection.
You can mount your car amplifier in the back floor or in the trunk.
Under you spare tire in the trunk. if you need just to jump the car there are + and ground under the hood.

The 2005 Saturn L300 does not have a dedicated factory ground point in the trunk, but you can create a reliable ground by securing your amp's ground wire to a clean, unpainted metal surface on the car's chassis. Look for a bolt or a screw that can be used for this purpose. Make sure to sand away any paint or rust to ensure a good connection. Alternatively, you can run a ground wire to a common grounding point in the front of the vehicle, such as the battery or a grounding point near the engine.
In American English yes both are possible. A tree trunk can be ground or you can grind it.
Locked in the Trunk of a Car was created in 1992.
Yes. Some car amplifiers can be mounted in the trunk.
Hey Michael==It would help if you listed what kind of car yu have. SOME cars you can get into the trunk by taking the back seat out and with long extensions, remove the latch. Good luckJoe
Run an amp wire through the firewall, under the carpet into the trunk, run a remote turn-on wire from the head unit to the trunk, and run your RCA's from the head unit to the trunk. Make sure you have an in-line fuse big enough no more than 12" from the battery on the power wire. Find a good ground in the trunk, or drill a hole and ground it under the car somewhere. Hook everything up, and keep the volume down until the sub(s) are broken in. Then feel free to bump!
a trunk port is called a trunk because it is part of the back end of a car - ie a trunk.
the trunk
A car has a trunk, and a truck does not.
