The R-5 was a fuel truck used by the US Air Force. The only R-5s that I have experience driving/operating were 1955 models. They were a cab over design, and manufactured on a GMC chassis. Some of the features are 6 cyl gasoline engine, 5000 gallon tank and a maximum pump rating of 600 gallons per minute.
