This will remove the black cover over the actual CHSML unit.After the black cover is off, press the white/gray tabs in and push the CHMSL lens unit out (it will pop out outside of the trunk).You now have the entire unit (Circuit Board, LED's and the Lens Cover) in your hands. You cannot replace the individual LED's as they are soldered behind the lens cover which is glued to the unit. Chevrolet states that you will need to replace the entire unit.
