Until very reciently ExxonMobil made GM oil. that does not mean that is is standard Exxon or Mobil oil. many oil manufacturers custom blend oil for different retailers. Some higher performance GM vehicles came factory filled with Mobil 1 but that is changing as of 2011 model year. No word out from GM who their new supplier is - and if they are dropping the Mobil 1 factory fill. I guess we better research that and find out what is going on. But in answer to the question, it has been Exxonmobil that has been manufacturing GM Goodwrench oil
