That would be a bad thing. About the only way it could happen would be if one side got plugged up with sludge. Not likely.
If your driver's side window goes down halfway and gets stuck in a 1999 Chevy Suburban, the motor could be failing. It could also indicate the window is off the track.
The motor is located on the passenger side firewall.

Your motor mount is broke on the passenger side replaceit and your trouble will be solved
To change the motor in the 1996 Chevy Cavalier driver's side window, first pry the interior door panel from the door. Then, remove the motor by first disconnecting the vehicle's battery and then disconnecting the wiring to the motor. You can then remove the screws that hold the motor in place.
