All sorts of changes in the form of energy happen when you drive a car. The engine converts the chemical energy of the gasoline into heat energy. The pistons convert that energy into kinetic energy. Friction turns that energy back into heat, which is lost into the atmosphere. When you go up or down a hill, you also convert some kinetic energy into potential energy, or vise versa.
no because the kinetic energy will change but the mechaincal energy will not because thye car is not on
What happens to a stars nuclear energy generation change if the core decreases in temperature?
When energy is added during a phase change the energy is used to break molecular bonds.
as you decrease the velocity of a car, you decrease the kinetic energy.
force
heat is produced
Pushing on a car will not always change its mechanical energy. For the car's kinetic energy to increase, there must be a net force acting on the car in the direction of motion, allowing it to accelerate and gain speed. This change in kinetic energy is a result of the work done on the car by the applied force.
When energy is added during a phase change the energy is used to break molecular bonds.
The cooling system moves the heat (thermal energy) to the air.
Light to heat and chemical energy in plant's biomass
The potential energy will double too.
The potential energy of the molecules change during a reaction.
