because it doesn't like you
It's an engine control unit, it connects to all the electronics in the car through a wiring harness.
The wiring harness to the Powertrain Control Module ( PCM ) can be seen from the engine compartment . Look at the firewall on the passenger side and you will see a wiring harness that is bolted to one end of the PCM , the rest of the PCM is " hidden " behind the glove compartment
No you have to disconnect the wiring under the dash.

At a recycling yard.
pretty sure the police department will help you fine that wiring harness.
yes, but you have to change the wiring harness to accept the engine, but yes, it can be done. If you do not have the right wiring harness, you would burn up the turbo
You can order a new engine wiring harness for a 92 Cavalier 3.1 at auto part stores. You can also check with a certified dealer.
It connects the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) to the ECM (Engine Control Module) so the ECM can receive information transmitted by the TPS.
If the motor is the same the wiring harness should fit. Only thing I would check is the sending units. As long as both vehicles have gauges or both have warning lights all should be fine.
