If you are speaking about a vehicle, r.v. or boat policy, some companys offer a 'storage' or 'sleeping' time, meaning a boat, or motorcyle (mostly) is garaged for four or so months out of the year, they are typcially covered for all comprehensive losses, (fire, theft, etc). Be sure to check with your agent for clarity though.
