You must be referring to an "aromatic" compound which is a hydrocarbon molecule with a ring structure. If you really do mean "hydromatic", then that refers to a GM automatic transmission.
Dexron III for electronically controlled automatic trnsmission, or Dexron II for manually controlled.
hydromatic 400
mine had a 350 turbo- hydromatic
Hydromatic transmissions were first offered in Cadillacs and GMC trucks in the late 40's early 50's. They became the transmission of choice in the '60's when B&M began modifying them for use in drag racing. This is the transmission that began it all for B&M and propelled all of the most popular gassers of the '60's. Not the same transmission as the Turbo Hydromatic that came out in mid '60's GM Muscle cars. Turbo hydros are an entirely different animal.
no,mine is 3 speed automatic turbo-hydromatic 400,they came both ways.
so far yes i just cant figure out how to open it i bet its really simple
None, TH stands for turbo-hydromatic, hence th350 or 350 turbo.
I believe they used the 4T60-E Hydromatic in almost all Luminas 1993 or later
well there was a "turbo hydromatic 700r4 or th700r4" or the 4l80e hope this helps
400 Turbo-hydromatic transmission. FYI: The 501 was not the c.i. of the motor. It was a designation for the Cadillac engine family, which included the 472 c.i. and 500 c.i. engine. If your car is the Eldorado then it is the 500 c.i. engine. Other than the Eldorado, you have the 472 c.i.
GM started using the turbo hydromatic 350 in 1969 and used it with modifications until 1984.
