bad vehicle speed sensor
Code P0715 means:Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction
Trouble code P0715 means: Input/turbine speed sensor circuit malfunction
P0715
po715 is the code for the neutral safety switch.
The speed sensor on a 1997 Escort is located on the transmission. It is right behind the bell housing. The Code PO715 means that this sensor needs to be fixed or replaced. This sensor can sometimes pop out of its plug, so do not purchase a new one until this is checked.
In researching other computer trouble codes, I ran across the site that is listed under "Related Links" down below the sponsor links. That site suggests the P0715 code relates to "Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction"
Code P0715 is triggered when the transmission's Input Speed Sensor isn't providing a reliable signal. Common Problems are a defective input/turbine speed sensor, defective shift solenoids, a defective engine coolant temperature sensor, a defective valve body, or dirty transmission fluid that restricts the hydraulic passages.
an input speed sensor on the transmission that will usually cause problems with 3rd or 4th gear, get yourself a manual for the location of the sensor and replace.

For Windows XP, you should be able to access basic functions of the camera in the Scanners and Cameras module of the Control Panel. For full functionality, there are several free and paid webcam software packages available on the Internet. My personal preference is Youcam, a free Java based program that has advanced features like streaming support, motion tracking and much more. This program works on Windows XP, Vista and 7. If you have Windows Vista or 7 an external program like Youcam is required unless your computer manufacturer preinstalled a webcam software package.
yes this code requires the tranny man . The explanation is this: there is a speed sensor buried inside the tranny called input/turbine speed sensor that sends speed signals to the computer.Over a period of time metal shavings build up to the magnetic head and eventually clog the sensor up so bad it cannot send out accurate readings causing a pending po715 code.(are still with me so far). then this continues until the same metal shavings start clogging up other magnetic solenoids, like the torque converter clutch solenoid, until it starts sticking sending a po743 code.Sooooo, to fix this problem $1200.00 to $1800.00 is not an uncommon price to rebuild the tranny. Not what you wanted to read but that's what happens. remember years ago when transmission shops would say change tranny oil and filer every 15,000 miles. This is never so much MORE true today with the introduction of digital components inside the tranny and magnetic sensors /solenoids.hope this explanation helps.
