You probably can't, but a light sanding with Emory cloth might help. I'd be hesitant to try anything spectacular though. Glassware is fragile and can be damaged by misuse. Be advised too, that there is a school of thought which will tell you that newer (post 1984 if memory serves) Corningware may spontaneously explode.
