It appears to work with a Tremec 5 speed transmission model T-3550 which is a factory trans in the Ford Mustang. Also Jerico D-4 trans with propper input shaft. 2 model vehicles have been identified in the discussions of using this part number, either late model Mustang or Camaro. 82-90. Still trying to pinpoint which, or if both, but for the 5 speed trans anyway. Mustang 96-2003 including Cobra 4.6L - 5.4L and maybe S.B. Ford 289-351 c.i. as well. Will follow up later. It also worthy to note that this may be a casting number and is not the actual part number such as Lakewood 15230. Either way this is a steel safety NHRA approved Bell Housing, or Scatter Shield that has a plate and a housing that make the one part number. SFI 6.1

There's no fun in playing it safe. Why not try something a little unhinged?
