If you do not have a transponder in the car, when the system does not get a reply a camera will be triggered to record your licence plate and in a few days a traffic ticket will be mailed to you requesting payment of a fine and/or court appearance for running the toll booth without paying.
Cars not having transponders are required by law to use the other toll lanes.
