Thermostat and radiator
normally if a car is leaking water it is because of the air conditioning in the car being cold so the car will sometimes leak if the ac is running long enough and cold enough.
If you are running the A/C then this is normal and is just condensation from the A/C unit. If you are not running the A/C then it may be coolant. If your coolant is low then check for a leak at the connections for the heater hoses going inside the car.
If you have your air conditioning running it is the moisture that is pulled out of the air when it is being cooled. That water is then expelled outside of the car
Typically, if your car is leaking water it has to do with the air conditioning system. This simply usually means the condensation is leaking from the AC.
If a vehicle is loosing coolant then there is a leak. If no leak is visible then the coolant could be leaking into the oil, or leaking into a cylinder and being blown out through the exhaust.
Check where this rusty water is coming from. There are many possible causes.
Take it to a mechanic. Have them check for leaks.
If it's not related to outside weather, then check the drain for your AC condenser.
with engine at running, and at running temperature, carefully remove radiator cap then have some one else rev engine ,doesnt need to be full speed. while engine is being run at higher revs, look in radiator to see if there is movement of the coolant.if no movement then water pump is not working also check under car for coolant leaking on to ground check water pump for loose bearings and for weep hole leakage if weep hole is leaking, replace pump
It's the coolant control valve for the heater core that's leaking. It's under more pressure when the engine is running and that why the leak is more noticable.
If your car will not hold water you should first check your radiator for holes and leaks. This should be done with the engine turned off. If you do not find any leaks coming from the radiator and the water stays inside, turn on your vehicle and let it idle. If you notice water leaking from the vehicle while it is running, then your water pump is bad and will need to be replaced.
You are probably leaking anti-freeze
