its to make your vehicle louder.
definitely
because you need a heat shield to keep it from smoking.
You can't. you can use a 40series flowmasters mofler on it.
i thought so until i bought one. lol. it is technically but if u ask anyone who knows about it no. you have to throw some flowmasters and an air intake for it to even be decent
I like the flowmaster 40 series on a vehicle with a V-8 motor
Not much.. Like 4-12 depending on the vehicle. They look great and sound awesome.
Different strokes for different folks. SLP, magna, Flowmaster all pretty good. I prefer Flowmasters with electric cutouts
One type of fowmaster is used in the pub trade. It is used to regulate the speed at which the beer is delivered to the font head to give the right "head" or foam when pulling a glass of beer
Flowmasters sound GREAT on anything powered by a V8! (this is my personal opinion, but I plan on getting Flowmasters on my '96 Taurus SHO).They are a good affordable brand but if you want good power and awesome sound go with corsa exhaust they sound amazing and will add 39% hp but one flaw they are only v8 exhaust on up and will run you $900-$1200 just for the exhaust bc they are all chrome
Everyone's version of "nice" is different. Generally, low backpressure glasspacks tend to give a nice, deep rumble. The amount of sound is dependant on the length of the glasspack.
i had the same problem with my flowmasters on my 71 chevy. its the baffling inside the muffler. a few good hits with a hammer will fix it.
