Turn the ignition key to the "Lock" position. This may require orienting/turning the front end towards the left to allow the steering lock to engage. This is covered in the owners manual and is common to most all motorcycles on the market today.
They have a 'flattenend' front end, which helps in combatting wind resistance.

Did you have the front tires balanced and did you get the front end aligned??

If effort is not given to steering wheel, front wheels also would not turn. When a turn is taken, no such effort is given to rear wheels for turning because the cars are usually front wheeled steered. So it is the inertia of the wheels and the car which causes the rear end of the car not want to turn when turning and they usually slip.

Assuming that there are no worn parts in your vehicles front end, the cause could be excessive toe-in. Have the front end alignment checked.
It may be your shock absorbers or the front sway bar.
