If it's for drum brakes, you can get a kit that has them all which is pretty cheap, generally sold with/without star adjusters. If it's for front disc, some of the better auto parts stores sell them separately, if you can't find them, maybe reuse one of your old or would have to buy another pair of pads to get them. these are also sold with or without clips, depending on brand type and where you go. Your time constraints will also play into which choice(s) more viable for you
Don't break the brake handle!
I had to hit the brake before the glass would break.
There is a retainer clip that holds the handle onto the spined shaft. There is a plastic piece between the handle and the door panel, I used a screwdriver to make a gap between the handle and this plastic piece. through the gap I was able to see to use a crochet needle to hook and pull the retainer clip loose. Once the retainer clip is loose the handle easily pulls off the spined shaft.
use ice to freeze the gum till brittle and it will break off
Depending on the setup, the clip could be very important. Some models use the clip to keep the pad steady, while others use the clip to help hold the pad in proper alignment.
I need a break from braking my arms
You spelled Break wrong. It should be Break, not Brake. Brake is a thing cars use to stop, and Break is what you use when someone shatters something or stop going out.
There is a tool that you can use to knock-off the retainer clip. Any auto store should have it.
As a result of the accident, the driver stepped on the brake pedal so hard that he had a some bones break in his foot.
