Check ball joints for play
Dry ball joints/suspension joints. Universal joints going bad. Worn brake pad "squealers".
Put your truck up on jacks. Loosen the lug nuts on the wheel and then remove them. Remove the tire so you have access to the ball joints. Use a pair of pliers to remove the cotter pins. Place a ball joint separator between the ball joint and the steering knuckle and then hammer it until it pops loose. Remove the old ball joints and then replace them with the new ones.

Put the car on a rack and have the ball joints inspected by a professional if you suspect they are bad. Your car will dart from side to side and handle poorly if they are bad. This is a very dangerous situation so have this looked at ASAP.
