I'm not sure what year you are working with but it will pretty much bolt in aside from the frame mounts for the engine. The frame mounts for the straight six 292 were staggered, the 350 are directly accross from each other. You will need to replace the passenger side frame mount for a V-8 style. You will need V-8 brackets and pulleys for the Power Steering, alternator and throttle linkage/cable. You will need to beef up the radiator and use a fan shroud for cooling. You will need V-8 exhaust manifolds or headers for the exhaust.
Yes it does work. However you will also need to use the 22 lb injectors for the 350. To get the full benefits from the upgrade you should get a 350 chip burned. The computers are the same but the chips are different. This is all considering if the swap is for a lb9 (305) to a l98 (350).
all you need is different motor mounts and then some minor things that might pop up. it should bolt up to the tranny that's in it.
well apparently a 4.3 litre is a 5.7 with two less cylinders. It's bored out the same as a 350 and so I've beeen told all you need is a 350 engine a new computer and new wiring for the engine and the engine will bolt rright up to your transmission painlessperformance.com and advanceadapters.com has motor mounts for a 350 if you need them hope this helped
The factors of 292 are 1, 2, 4, 73, 146, and 292.
Fairly straight forward. No engine swap is easy, but they are both small block Chevy's and it will not be that difficult. The Chevy 305 and 350 are the same block just bored out different. they aren't that hard to swap it normally takes about 6 hours if you have all the right tools and a buddy to help just remember where all the bolts came from and if its a manual its best to change the clutch now while its out now!
it will all bolt up no mods are needed. simple swap
The 350 and the 305 is a direct swap, The only thing that is different with the 305 is the size of the pistions, They are smaller then the 350 engine. Just transfur the intake and all the other parts from the 305 and put it all on the 350 engine. Easy job.
yes it is possible to swap the two motors but considering the 69 motor is carburated you will need to install the propler wiring harness from the 91 350 into the truck and hook all that up. but the motors will bolt up and go rite into place without a problem
No camaro came from the factory with a 5 speed and a 350 the only way they could have both is if you did a swap and its worth it i did it in my 91 camaro rs and i love it! The iroc`s came with a 350 but they are all automatic.
Need a DETAILED description of ALL markings and condition.
You do not need to set up a dedicated partition for swap as you can also set up a swap file.
yes it will bolt right in and all accessories will work but unless you change your carb or have someone adjust for the proper mixture for the bigger motor it wont give you its full potential but its a very easy swap
