Either a proprietary Mack 18 speed or an Eaton-Fuller 18 speed. Various models of the Eaton-Fuller were available, from 1600 torque to 2100 torque.

The 302 is alredy balanced. You do need to install a piolet berring in the rear of the crankshaft.
It's pressed on or or is threaded clockwise, depending on whether your truck came with the Mitsubishi or Mazda transmission. Try turning it counter-clockwise with a decent amount of force.
