you should have a 4 wheel alignment done
The tires have nothing to do with alignment. The car could be aligned with the scalloped tires. They are scalloped from bad alignment, shocks, struts or damaged to the front end. An alignment in itself may not fix the problem. There may need to be some new parts installed before the alignment. You only need to replace the two scalloped tires. A four wheel alignment can be done with new ones on the front and old ones on the back. Rotating them at some point will not affect the alignment.
You need to have a 4 wheel alignment.
Yes, alignment can be done either way.
Usually a 4-wheel alignment costs between $60 & $90
I would think its the shocks causing the vibration or the car to wobble, do check on car shocks!!
It depends on how old your tires are and how warn they are. The front tires will wear out first, so if they replace your tires regularly then you can get away with only replacing the front two. If you rotate your tires when you change your oil or don't replace your tires often enough then you will probably want to replace all four at the same time.
I've paid $50.00 for all 4 tires. LA CA.
You can install 4 snow tires but it is really not necessary. Only install the snow tires on the drive wheels.
Yes, you should have balanced all 4 tires.
Yes it should.
I had the exact same problem and took my car in and the dealer replaced the control arms, it was better but not perfect. I put 16 inch rims and low profile tires on and it handles way better. Hope that helps. check for excessive toe-in with the alignment.
