The Equal Protection Clause, part of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, provides that "no state shall ... deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws".
The 14th Amendment
Fourteenth amendment forbids any state to make or enforce any law to abridge the priviledges or immunities of any citizen nor shall deprive any person of life, liberty or property without due process to law nor deny equal protection of the laws.
Unconstitutional, because it violates the 14th Amendment: "No State shall . . .deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
The phrase "nor deny to any person... equal protection of the laws" is derived from the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. It is meant to prevent discrimination and ensure that all individuals receive the same legal protections and treatment under the law, regardless of race, gender, religion, or other characteristics. Amendment 14, ratified July 9, 1868, which says in section 1: "1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

That is HALF a sentence from section 1 of the 14th amendment.The actual sentence is "No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person under its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
