Then give May a ride to the closest auto repair shop, or call her a tow truck.
Just kidding... There are many reasons your car won't start. I would start with the battery, its one of the most common reasons. Get a friend to help you jump start it. (Look up the correct way to jump start a car I don't need you shocking yourself on my conscience) If runs but you continue to have problems you should look in to getting a new battery or possibly checking the alternator.
If it doesn't work even if you try to jump it, it could be the starter motor, or a fuse. Check the fuse box first there should be a fuse diagram somewhere either in the manual or the fuse box and one will describe a fuse that controls the starter. Check if it is blown, if so it needs to be replaced. Any other problems and you will need to have a mechanic look at it.
yes it will start but you dont want to start it.
It will not start ???????
This is for the 3rd Gen. Cavalier, it may or may not work for others....Try to start the car. When it dont start,(the theft system light should be flashing) leave the key on for 20 mins. or so, After 20 mins. (the light should be on,but not flashing) turn the key off for 30sec. or so, then start the car. Dont do anthing electrical while waiting (open door, push brake,ect...)it may mess-up the process. If you dont wait long enough you will have to do this process over but waiting longer until it works.
Because the car needs all the power it can get to start so you heater and maybe radio cut out for a few seconds.
Try to start the car, when it dont start, Just leave the key on for about 10 mins. then turn the key off for 30 sec. then start the car. HINT:: dont do anything electrical..push brakes, open door,,,ect...
nice car but i dont know
Yes, but dont do it as you can do substamtial damage
Check for fuel and check for spark before you start looking at sensors.
Three possibilites why the car won't start after using the battery when the car is off. (1) the battery may be old and not holding enough charge to re-start the car (2) the belt that drives the alternator may be loose (3) the alternator may be faulty.
A car may start better in the afternoon, because the heat of the sun has warmed up the engine. Once a car has sat over night, it may be difficult to start in the morning because the engine is cold.
Most of the time, your car may be de-registered.
If you car won't start your battery may have dead. Try having your car jump started, if that does nit work, your starter may be bad.
