my question i primed my 1984 chev new 350 5.7 from the distribuator only got oil on all the valves on the passanger side none on the passanger side why
I don't think you have anything to worry about. It's probably just a case of not spinning the pump fast enough to push oil down both sides of the oil galley. If you have pressure on the gauge when spinning the pump, go ahead and finish up the installation.
Engine noise.
no, but its not a good idea to let oil get low
Not sure, i would say oil pump or cam bearings
low oil pressure if you have a guage instead of a light and usually accompanied by valves ticking showing the need for more oil.
A mechanical oil gauge may bounce if you are low on oil. An electric oil gauge may bounce if the sending unit or the gauge itself is faulty and of course you are low on oil.
no
1976 Chevy 350 engine should take 5 qts engine oil with filter change.
how to install the oil pressure gauge on a Chevy 350 small block
The distributor and the oil filter.
The oil drain plug on a 1994 Chevy 350 is on the underside of the motor. Look for a bolt in the very center of the bottom of the engine.
5W30 oil.
if you get blue smoke only when you start it the valve seals are bad. if it blows blue all the time. the piston rings are bad.
