It should be the same.. the standard Jeep(left hand drive) the intake and exhaust are on the left side of the engine as well, so there is no need for a different manifold. so 99 % sure its the same manifold
I bought a 2000 tj three years ago with a cracked exhaust manifold (dealer said it was a exhaust gasket on down pipe). Cost $98 at O'Reileys. I replaced the exhaust manifold in my drive way with a 119 piece Craftsman tool set in 4 hours. Two years of use and it too has cracked so I am going to see if I can beat the 4 hour mark now that I know how to do it.
Water and hot cast iron dont mix well, are the heat shields in place? how about the inner fender wells and skid plates?. do you drive through water a lot?.
On the front and rear of what?? The Air Intake Manifold is on the TOP of the engine. the Exhaust Manifold are on the sides of an engine. On a front wheel drive vehicle, the engine is turned 90 degrees, so the exhaust manifold appears to be on the front and back of the engine, below the valve covers.
screwed into your exhaust manifold.
Exhaust manifold.
This v6 engine has the traditional front-wheel drive 'transverse' mounting. This means the exhaust manifolds are on the front (towards the radiator) and back (facing the firewall) sides of the engine. The exhaust manifold is made of heavy cast iron and directly beneath where the sparkplugs mount.
You have to replace the gasket because when you take the manifold off it brakes the seel and air will be sucked into the manifold and your vehicle will hardly run, and you wont be able to drive it You have to replace the gasket because when you take the manifold off it brakes the seel and air will be sucked into the manifold and your vehicle will hardly run, and you wont be able to drive it

You can drive a car with any faulty part, but in doing so it will cause more damage to another part somewhere else. With a faulty Exhaust manifold you will be damaging your Valves, and possible your pistons, connecting rods etc...
Exhaust gases from engine spin the blades which in turn drive a turbine in the inlet manifold that forces air into a engine.
the stock exhaust has a factory 16 inch glass pack on it with a high flow exhaust and high flow exhaust manifold it also has pressure realease valves which is why its so loud>
