If it came stock with a 4 barrel carb and has the large harmonic balancer, it's probably a 4 bolt main.Repost with the engine number stamped on the machined flat pad on the passenger front of block just below the front of the passenger side cylinder head.

It is a small block Chevy 350 engine with 6 bolt main caps.

That engine could be anywhere from a 1969 to 1972 350. Some of them were 4-bolt mains and some were just a 2-bolt main engine.
