Is TSC Direct a legitimate auto insurance?

Yes it is. I have been insured with them for the past two years and have no complaints about their rates and customer service reps. They do make life slightly inconvenient by not having an on-line payment option. They also are sticklers for minute details which can be very annoying. However I personally have saved hundreds of dollars a year on my liability coverage with them and remain a loyal but sometimes annoyed customer.

Agreed. They are a legitimate insurance company. Their prices are cheap because they are very strict with their guidelines and who they insure. You can't just call them the way you call other insurance carriers and get a policy. Because of their cheap rates you will have to have proof ready of your mileage, ownership, and etc. It is especially tough to get cheap car insurance for young drivers at TSC Direct. Because you need to have at least 18 months of continuous insurance coverage to even be given a quote.
